I've started back to church. The real church and the church community that Jesus had set up before lift off. It feels good, a sense a peace and purpose now seeps back in as I begin exercising my free will to let go and let God.
I realized I had been worshiping false gods. In my puny attempt to exert free will, I had stopped off at the first church of fox news and fallen prey to a fair and balanced pablum, designed to sell cars and dull already dim wits, mine included.
I'm too much a conservative to buy that drivel. Sure I like some of the pundits like Krauthammer. But there's barely a real effort to report real news; look at O'Reilly; shamelessly spotlighting girls gone wild, bikinis, stupid body language experts, guests whose sole purpose seems to be to boost the bloviating Irishman. And if O'Reilly gets you sick, tune in at 9:00 Eastern Time and really lose your lunch with Hannity - there's a powerhouse of "uuhs" and "like". A walking embarrassment. Conservative? Please! My mother was a conservative, my father was a conservative. These slicksters think if they report the latest Clinton gaffe it'll get us all panicked like the villagers in Frankenstein. Please. These jerks are like the guy in Wizard of Oz, who was working the levers and smokescreens trying to make everyone believe the "great and powerful Oz". There is no Wizard!
We are all being manipulated by a hucksters and blowhards. Its up to us to get out the news and focus on shining the light on the useful idiots in colleges, the media, political life, whose stupidity or worse is leading us down the path of statism; the all powerful state that will take care of us from cradle to grave. Yechh!
I'll keep shining the light and naming names. We have to save ourselves.
